Saad Alkroud

Chief of Staff at Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund

Mr. Saad Alkroud is Chief of Staff in the Public Investment Fund (PIF), where his responsibilities include catering for PIF business plan delivery; in addition to managing the internal institutional and investment projects; along with managing the governance model for PIF portfolio companies; and managing PIF stakeholders.

In 2016, Mr. Saad Alkroud joined PIF as the Head of Stakeholder Management to cater for managing international relationships; along with increasing the collaboration efforts with local and regional governmental entities to deliver strategic initiatives and goals, in addition to catering for PIF Board of Directors and its committees affairs; as well as supervising periodic reports on investment and non-investment activities.

Mr. Saad Alkroud’s developed an experience in several fields prior joining PIF, throughout working in a number of positions in Abdullatif Alissa Group Holding Company, being an Advisor to the Chairman of the group in 2010. Mr. Saad Alkroud also participated in establishing a private wealth management and diversification company (Mayaas) and became its Vice President between 2012-2016, equipping his knowledge further on the financial field.

Mr. Saad Alkroud’s contributions extend to non-executive roles, being the Secretary of the Management Committee, as well as being a board member, executive committee member and remuneration committee member in Albalad Development Company, along with participations in governmental committees. He also was appointed as Secretary General of Alissa Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and the Managing Director and owner’s representative at Jeddah Private International School Company 2010 and 2016.

Mr. Saad holds bachelor’s degree in finance from the King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, and a Master’s degree in management and leadership from the University of La Verne, California.
