Ghaith Alghamdi

Ghaith Alghamdi has worked in various roles in the past seven years. In 2015, they co-founded and served as President of the Saudi Student Association at UT-Austin. In 2016, they were a Summer Intern at SABIC, where they developed design tools to optimize CO2 removal units and refrigeration units, received Pinch Analysis training, and completed safety training at Mount Vernon site in Indiana. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at SABIC in various roles, including Production Engineer, Technical Project Engineer, and Production/Cost Engineer. In 2018, they served as Club President at Toastmasters International. Currently, they are an Investment Associate at Aramco Ventures and Chief Financial Officer at NABATIK, a social project with a vision to make the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia green.

Ghaith Alghamdi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between 2013 and 2017. In 2018, they obtained a CFA I certification from the CFA Institute. In July 2017, they obtained a Certified Chemical Engineer certification from the Saudi Council of Engineers. In May 2021, they obtained a CFA II certification from the CFA Institute. Ghaith is currently enrolled in Corporate Finance Institute\u00ae (CFI) and is working towards a Bloomberg Essentials degree in Finance and Financial Management Services.
