Maher Alshammari ماهر الشمري

Maher Alshammari is a seasoned professional in enterprise architecture and digital transformation, currently serving as the Head of Enterprise Architecture and Digital Transformation at the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property since March 2025. Prior to this role, Maher held the position of Digital Transformation Senior Manager at stc, overseeing the governance and implementation of digital transformation strategies. Experience also includes serving as Enterprise Architecture Manager at Red Sea Global, where Maher contributed to establishing the Enterprise Architecture Office. In previous roles at SABIC, Maher advanced from Digital Transformation Specialist to Digital Transformation Manager, managing projects and teams, and designing comprehensive digital solutions. Early career roles included positions at Cognizant as a Quality Assurance Engineer and Amiantit as a SAP ABAP Analyst Trainee. Maher possesses a PhD in Software Engineering, an MS in Computer Science, and a BS in Computer Sciences from King Faisal University, along with ongoing studies in Computer Science at Thompson Rivers University.
