Abdel-Salam Bdeir is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in retail and management consulting. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Saudi Company For Hardware - SACO since November 2022 and Chairman of the Board at Rival Consulting Group since April 2022, Bdeir previously held the position of Group Chief Executive Officer at Qatami Holding Group from January 2020 to January 2022, where a comprehensive restructuring was implemented. Bdeir also transformed The Sultan Center (TSC) during tenure as CEO from November 2016 to March 2019, successfully turning around its operations from negative EBITDA. With earlier roles including CEO of Othaim Markets Company and Managing Director at TSC, Bdeir significantly expanded retail operations and revenues in the Middle East. Bdeir’s career began at Procter & Gamble as a Sales Manager, and educational qualifications include an Executive MBA and a BBA from the American University of Beirut.
