Osman Ahmed

Osman Ahmed is an experienced engineer specializing in substation automation systems and telecommunications. Since February 2021, Osman has been employed at the Saudi Electricity Company as a SAS and telecommunications engineer, focusing on the design review of new projects involving Substation Automation Systems and Fiber Optic technologies. Prior to this role, Osman served as a SAS and instrumentation engineer at Sudanese Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd from January 2016 to January 2021, where responsibilities included maintenance, installation, and commissioning of control and protection relays, as well as telecommunication systems in converter stations. Earlier in the career, Osman worked as a maintenance engineer at RUMSEN ENGINEERING from January 2014 to October 2015. Osman holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a focus on Control from Al-Neelain University, completed in June 2016, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from the same institution, obtained in September 2013.
