Salma Alkaff

Salma AlKaff is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and research. Currently serving as a Business Development Specialist at the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC) since September 2022, Salma previously co-founded Gear Me and held roles such as Business Analyst at Farrelly & Mitchell and Graduate Researcher at Sustainable & Synthetic Biotechnology Group (SSB). Notable contributions include managing RFP responses and streamlining food import processes, as well as evaluating solvents for industrial product extraction from engineered microalgae. Salma's early career also encompasses event management and research assistance at various organizations, complemented by a Master's degree in Bioengineering from KAUST and a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from Alfaisal University.
