Banan Othman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2011, they began their career as an intern at Bank Al Jazira. They then went on to intern at Imar, Urban Consultants and later worked as a Public Relations Intern at the American University of Sharjah. In 2012, they held various roles at the university, including Finance Teacher's Assistant and Internship Assistant. They also interned as a research assistant and served as the Saudi Cultural Club Treasurer.
In 2013, Banan continued their involvement with the American University of Sharjah as the Saudi Cultural Club President and later worked as a Research Assistant. In 2014, they interned at Dubai Airports, gaining experience in finance through a rotation program. Later in 2014, they briefly interned again at Saudi Mubadara Development Company.
In 2015, Banan joined Saudi Mubadara Development Company as a Business Development Associate and later progressed to the role of Business Development Manager. Most recently, they became Head of Business Development in November 2020. Throughout their career, Banan has acquired skills in business development, finance, research, and cultural club leadership.
Banan Othman obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance, General from the American University of Sharjah from 2010 to 2014. They also received a High School Diploma from Asrary National School from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, Banan Othman has obtained various certifications, including a Peer Mediation Certificate from the American University of Sharjah in 2012, and certifications in Business Process Improvement, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), SharePoint Online Essential Training, Project Management Foundations, Design Foundations: Prototyping and Manufacturing, Guy Kawasaki on Entrepreneurship, Working Remotely, and Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn, with the most recent certification obtained in 2022.
