Mark Lucas is a seasoned creative professional with over 20 years of experience in brand development and strategic direction across various sectors, including sports, creative agencies, and luxury brands. Currently serving as Creative Director and Brand Development Director at the Saudi Pro League since August 2023, Mark also holds a position as Brand Advisor/Creative Director for Team Saudi at the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee. Prior roles include Brand & Marketing Director at Saudi Sports Company, Director of Strategy & Performance at W O R K S, and Creative Director Advisor for the Royal Household, where Mark co-created the 'Anything is Possible' campaign. Mark's education includes a BA Hons in Graphic Design from Teesside University and a BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design from Cleveland College of Art & Design.

The Saudi Pro League (SPL) was founded in 2008 as an independent organization that works under the umbrella of the Saudi Football Federation but with an administrative and Financial independence, as well as holding all commercial rights to the Saudi Pro League. The Saudi Pro League’s Board of Directors consists of SPL’s Chairman, a Representative of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), and SPL Teams. The Saudi Pro League has the right to establish its own regulations in accordance with the Statute of SAFF. The Saudi Pro League as of now consists of 16 Participating teams.
