Valanathan Munsami

Valanathan Munsami is currently the Deputy CEO at the Saudi Space Agency and Co-Founder of the African Space Leadership Institute. Previously, he served as CEO of the South African National Space Agency, where he played a key role in the development and implementation of visionary strategies for the Agency. Prior to that, he held various roles at the Department of Science and Technology, including Chief Specialist in Astronomy and African Space Science, as well as Deputy Director General in Research, Development, and Innovation. Valanathan Munsami holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a Masters in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa, and certificates in International Space Law and Space Studies.
