Dr. Hédi Hmida

Dr. Hédi Hmida holds a PhD in Signal Processing from Paris-Sud University and possesses extensive experience in telecommunications. Currently serving as the Head of Department at Dawiyat, Dr. Hmida has contributed significantly to fiber-to-the-home network planning, design, and standardization since April 2018. Previous positions include Senior Strategy Management Expert at Saudi Telecom Company, where Dr. Hmida focused on the impact of blockchain technology in the telecom industry and government broadband initiatives. Additional roles at Qatar National Broadband Network and ictQATAR involved leadership in network planning and public-private partnerships. Earlier experience also includes work as a Senior Program Manager at Swedtel AB and multiple positions related to broadband access technologies at Saudi Telecom Company and academic contributions as CTO and Associate Professor at SUP'COM.
