Hazem Ameen

Hazem Ameen is a seasoned Database Team Lead at stc, with nearly two decades of experience spanning from September 2004 to the present. In this role, Hazem is involved in all project stages from design to implementation and operates 24/7, collaborating with teams across system administration, storage, networking, and server consolidation. Previously, Hazem served as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator, where responsibilities included designing, implementing, and maintaining various projects such as Data Warehouses and OLTP systems with extensive user connections. Hazem has a strong background in performance analysis and optimization, addressing issues related to network performance, storage, CPU utilization, SQL tuning, and process redesign. Prior to stc, Hazem worked as an Oracle Database Administrator at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Apropos Technology. Hazem earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Indiana State University between 1989 and 1993.
