Amy Armstrong

Amy Armstrong has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Amy currently holds the position of Director of Revenue Cycle at Sauk Prairie Healthcare since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at UW Health for five years as Director of Revenue Cycle, where they provided leadership and direction for a large academic medical center. Their responsibilities included overseeing charge capture, charge correction, special billing and follow-up, credit balance, and self-pay follow-up. Before joining UW Health, Amy held various roles at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, including Manager of Charge Capture and Supervisor of Patient Accounts. Additionally, they worked as a Faculty Member at Axia College of University of Phoenix and as an Account Executive at Aurora Employee Assistance Program. Amy began their career as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at the Division of Vocational Rehab in the State of WI. Amy's work experience demonstrates their expertise in revenue cycle management and leadership in the healthcare industry.

Amy Armstrong has a diverse education history. Amy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse between 1993 and 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University from 1998 to 2000. Subsequently, Amy furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Leadership from the Lubar College of Business between 2002 and 2004.

Additionally, Amy has obtained certifications in Charge Capture & Charge Router from EPIC in October 2010, as well as Hospital Billing Administration from EPIC in October 2009.
