Harriet Cooperman is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in labor and employment law. Currently, as a partner in the Labor and Employment Group at Saul Ewing LLP since April 1994, Harriet represents employers in various legal matters, including employment litigation, collective bargaining, and discrimination laws. Prior experience includes serving as an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore from August 1992 to May 1998, where Harriet taught traditional labor law and employment discrimination. Previously, Harriet was a partner at Kaplan, Heyman, Greenberg, Engelman & Belgrad from June 1977 to April 1994, focusing on management representation in employment issues. Harriet holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Additionally, Harriet is trained as a mediator by the American Arbitration Association.
