Meenakshi Kathiresan

Meenakshi Kathiresan has a diverse work experience in the engineering and construction field. Meenakshi started their career as a Geotechnical Site Engineer at Chennai Metro Rail Limited in 2019, where they developed strategies for data interpretation and communication and collected geological data for reports. In 2021, they worked as a Project Engineering Intern at ALSAL Construction, Inc., where they actively participated in small budget projects, performed quantity take-offs and surveys, and assisted in obtaining quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Currently, Meenakshi is working as a Project Engineer at Saunders Construction, starting in 2022.

Meenakshi Kathiresan obtained their Master's degree in Construction Management from The University of Texas at Arlington from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at Thiagarajar College of Engineering from 2015 to 2019. Meenakshi attended Mahatma Montessori Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 2013 to 2015 and Lakshmi School (ICSE) from 2000 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Meenakshi also holds several certifications. Meenakshi obtained a certification in Learning Bluebeam 2019 from LinkedIn in May 2021. Meenakshi received the OSHA 30HR Construction certification from Summit Training Source - A Member of the HSI Family of Brands in October 2020. Meenakshi also completed the Advanced Primavera P6 certification from LinkedIn in July 2020. Meenakshi obtained certifications in Budgeting and Scheduling Projects, Construction Management Foundations, Construction Management: Introduction to Lean Construction, Construction Management: Project Delivery Methods, Construction Management: Safety & Health, Construction Management: Technology on the Jobsite, Initiating and Planning Projects, Managing Project Risks and Changes, On the Job Site: Construction, and Primavera P6 Essential Training from LinkedIn in July 2020. Furthermore, they received the Procore Certified: Student certification from Procore Technologies in June 2020 and the Construction Manger-in-Training certification from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) in October 2020.
