Janet L. Mcnemar

Janet L. McNemar, NHA, MBA, is the executive Director and Administrator of Saunders House, handling all aspects of the 180-bed facility's operations. Janet has over 25 years’ experience in developing, opening and operating retirement communities, personal care homes, skilled nursing centers and adult day programs. Janet received both a BA in Psychology and an MBA in Management from West Chester University. Prior to joining the staff at Saunders House, Janet was the Executive Director of our sister organization, Bryn Mawr Terrace, and oversaw the management and operation of a 153-bed CCRC, including a 120-bed nursing care center, and a secure 35-bed memory care unit. Additionally, Janet has held a variety of leadership positions at regional nursing homes, continuing care and personal care communities, and as the administrator of health services at a local retirement community. Janet has a focus on quality care and service delivery through a person-centered approach.
