Dr. Rebecca Pianta

Dr. Rebecca Pianta is currently the Coordinator of College and Career Readiness at Santa Ana Unified School District, a position held since July 2021. In addition, Dr. Pianta serves as the Vice President of Programs for the Association of California School Administrators Region 17 and has been an adjunct professor at Concordia University Irvine since July 2020. Previous roles include being a Board Member for the American School Counselors Association until September 2023, and a long tenure at CUSD where Dr. Pianta transitioned from School Counselor to District Lead Counselor and Coordinator of Counseling and Student Support. As a Restorative Practices Trainer for the International Institute for Restorative Practices Graduate School from December 2016 to June 2021, Dr. Pianta contributed to the field of education alongside teaching assignments at Brandman University and Chapman University. Dr. Pianta holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University and has earned multiple credentials in educational leadership and counseling.
