Carlos Baradello is a seasoned professional with significant experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, and management across various sectors. As Co-Founder and General Partner at Alaya Capital since October 2010, Carlos supports the global scaling of young ventures by providing growth capital and strategic advice. At Hult International Business School, Carlos serves as a Professor of Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship, teaching subjects such as Corporate Entrepreneurship and Disruptive Innovation. Additionally, as Managing Partner at Sausalito Ventures since February 2013, Carlos bridges Silicon Valley with Latin American markets, offering advisory services and capital to startups. Carlos's prior roles include Associate Dean at the University of San Francisco, Global Academic Advisor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and Corporate VP at Motorola, among others. Carlos holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, an M.Sc. from Eindhoven University of Technology, and an Engineering Degree from Universidad Católica de Córdoba, complemented by an MBA from the University of San Francisco School of Management.
