Andrea J. Johnson

Andrea J. Johnson serves as the Associate Dean of the School of Building Arts and School of Design at Savannah College of Art and Design, overseeing over 1,200 students and 40 faculty members. Johnson is also the Principal of Andrea J. Johnson Architecture, which has completed various projects including residential renovations and concept designs. Previous academic roles include Associate Director of the M.S. in Architecture - Research Practices at the University of Minnesota, and adjunct professor positions at the City University of New York. As an architect, Johnson contributed to significant projects at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP, including large-scale developments and international designs. Educational credentials include a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Stanford University, along with a fellowship at Tongji University in Shanghai.
