Dominica Baird

Dominica Baird currently serves as Chair of The Business of Beauty and Fragrance at Savannah College of Art and Design, a role commenced in September 2023. Previously, Dominica worked at L'Oréal from 2016 to September 2023 as Global Director of Trends & VTO for Maybelline, focusing on leveraging consumer insights to drive global innovation and brand storytelling. Dominica also operated as a Fashion/Marketing Consultant through Dominica Baird Consulting from 2010 to 2018 and held the position of Fashion Department Chair at The Art Institute of Charleston from 2014 to 2016, where oversight included fashion design and marketing programs as well as faculty management. Additional experience includes positions as an Adjunct Professor and Dress Designer at Elie Tahari, alongside roles in marketing consulting and knitwear design early in the career. Dominica holds a Master’s Degree in Luxury and Fashion Management and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design, both from Savannah College of Art and Design.
