Helen Morgan

Helen Morgan serves as the Executive Director of Physical Resources at Savannah College of Art and Design since September 2012, overseeing a department of over 60 staff members responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of 67 historic and new construction buildings. Previously, Helen operated as the Interim Executive Director of Physical Resources, where assistance to Senior Management led to a comprehensive reorganization that improved the department's operational efficiency. From February 2004 to June 2012, Helen held the position of Environmental Health and Safety Manager at the same institution, managing daily departmental activities and overseeing safety and health protocols. Prior to this, Helen accumulated extensive experience at GAF Materials Corporation from 1987 to 2002, where roles included Plant Safety/Stillyard/Training Supervisor, Quality Evaluation Specialist, and Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, achieving notable recognition for quality improvement during that tenure. Helen earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Armstrong State University between 1975 and 1981.
