Renee Bishop

Renee Bishop is a distinguished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in dramatic writing and production. Currently serving as a Professor of Dramatic Writing at Savannah College of Art and Design since September 2016, Renee has also held the role of Executive Producer and Writer at Out of The House since October 2008. Previously, Renee worked as a Professor at Savannah State University from August 2014 to December 2017, and as VP/Executive Producer at Farmers' Almanac TV from June 2005 to October 2008, overseeing content distributed across 48 states and 96 million homes. Renee's production background includes key positions at WGCL-TV, Lifetime Television, HBO/America Undercover, and other notable companies. Educational credentials include an MFA in Dramatic Writing from Savannah College of Art and Design and a BFA in Theatre from the University of South Florida.
