David Stevens

David Stevens has a range of experience in various roles within the software engineering and corporate sectors. David started their career at Delta Air Lines in 2007, where they worked as a Classroom Trainer, Baggage Floor Manager, and Corporate Liaison. In these roles, they managed high-value customers' luggage files, handled public relations for social media related to delayed luggage, assisted customers with delayed or lost luggage, and taught baggage procedures.

In 2014, David joined CB&I as a Database Coordinator and Software Developer, where they combined databases from multiple sources into a central data warehouse and developed software solutions to address system issues.

Since 2014, David has been working at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, initially as an Associate Software Engineer and later advancing to the roles of Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and currently Principal Software Engineer. In these positions, they have been responsible for reviewing code, authoring documents, gathering requirements, participating in design meetings, and leading teams of engineers. David has also provided mentorship and supervision to junior engineers and interns.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in C#, .Net framework, Oracle database, and various software development practices.

David Stevens completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Interactive Intelligence from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Augusta State University between 2010 and 2013. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2017 and a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in May 2016.
