Grant Harris

Grant Harris is a Design Authority Engineer at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, specializing in SRPPF Balance of Plant, Waste Management, and Facility Design Authority Engineering since June 2020. Previously, as a Mechanical Engineering Intern for the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility, Grant authored over 50 construction procedure drafts, designed the organizational chart for construction, and supported equipment purchasing through price estimating and material takeoff calculations. Prior experience includes an Integration/DWPF Intern role at Savannah River Remediation LLC, where Grant assisted in the operations of tank farms and the Defense Waste Processing Facility. Grant holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Certificate in Pre-Engineering from Aiken Technical College.
