Kishore Gohel has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Kishore started their career as a Principal Engineer at Westinghouse Savannah River Company in 2001, where they provided engineering support for system operation, maintenance, and deactivation of a nuclear facility. Kishore continued their engineering career at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC in 2008, where they prepared procedures and reviewed site procedures for compliance with regulatory requirements. Kishore also served as a design authority for civil-structural designs and prepared design change documents for modification of building and basin systems.
From 2011 to 2012, Kishore worked as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Bechtel Power Corporation and Prairie Island Nuclear Plant, where they prepared modification packages and calculations. Kishore also conducted High Energy Line Break Calculations (HELB) for plant modifications.
In 2012, they joined Florida Power & Light / Absolute Consulting as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they performed owner's reviews of deliverables and prepared scoping documents for various systems in support of Extended Power Uprate projects.
Starting from 2013 to 2019, Kishore worked at Duke Energy / Absolute Consulting, holding roles as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Consulting Engineer at Savannah River Site. Their responsibilities included reviewing bid specifications and vendor proposals, performing owner's reviews of deliverables, and preparing modifications and calculations for different projects.
In 2019, Kishore joined SRNS / Global Pundits as a Consulting Engineer at Savannah River Site, where they provided engineering expertise until 2022.
Currently, they are employed as a Principal Engineer at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, continuing their engineering career.
Kishore Gohel has a strong educational background in engineering. Kishore attended LD College of Engineering, Gujarat University from 1973 to 1978, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree specializing in Mechanical Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Youngstown State University from 1979 to 1980. At Youngstown State University, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Fluid and Heat Transfer.
In addition to their academic achievements, Kishore Gohel also holds a Professional Engineer certification from the State of New York, which they obtained in 1985.
