Venkatesh Hubli

Venkatesh Hubli has extensive experience in the agricultural industry. Venkatesh currently serves as the Director of Research at Savannah Seeds Pvt Ltd since 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Syngenta, where they held the positions of Lead-Product positioning and information management -APAC and Head of Rice Breeding South Asia. Before joining Syngenta, they worked at Devgen as the Site Manager of R&D India, where they led a team of rice breeders and was responsible for developing superior rice hybrids and sunflower hybrids for India. Venkatesh began their career at Monsanto as the T D Manager for Corn, where they oversaw the implementation of pre-commercial testing and the launch of new corn products.

Venkatesh Hubli pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) in Agriculture at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad from 1982 to 1988. Venkatesh concentrated on Agriculture and Agriculture Operations, and Related Sciences during their studies at the aforementioned institution.
