Guilherme Medeiros

Guilherme Medeiros has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Guilherme started their career at W2u as a PHP Trainee, where they gained experience in website development using PHP, MySql, and OOP. Guilherme then worked at PetroquímicaSuape as an IT Trainee, where they learned about IT operations in large companies and participated in ERP decision-making.

Afterwards, Guilherme joined consultech as a Developer, where they further honed their development skills. Guilherme then moved on to BRQ as a Programmer and later joined ATPeng Engenharia e Empreendimentos as a Profissional TIT.

Guilherme's career took a significant leap when they joined CESAR - Instituto de Inovação as a Systems Engineer. During their four-year tenure there, they worked with PHP, JS, MySQL, and Redis. Guilherme also maintained a legacy app and performed migrations, bug fixes, and feature development.

Following this, Guilherme worked at Pluralsight as a Remote Contractor, where they maintained a Django app and internal API before moving on to build a new product. Guilherme built a GraphQL API using NodeJS/Express/Apollo/Knex/Postgres, a set of workers using Redis and RabbitMQ, and a frontend app using React with Apollo.

Next, Guilherme joined CircleUp as a Senior Software Engineer, where they used FastAPI, Postgres, ElasticSearch, SQLAlchemy, React, and TypeScript to create data visualization tools. Guilherme also participated in hackathons, where they contributed to the creation of a customer-facing GraphQL API.

Guilherme's most recent work experience is at Savant Labs as a Software Engineer, where they started in 2023. No specific end date is provided for this role.

Guilherme Medeiros obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Católica de Pernambuco, completing their education there from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, in 2005, they also studied at GGE for a brief period. After completing their Bachelor's degree, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Engenharia de Software from CESAR, studying there from 2013 to 2015.
