Julian Niklas Pohl

Julian Niklas Pohl currently serves as the Portfolio Manager for Asia at Save The Children Deutschland, having previously held the position of Project Manager for Network Development at streetfootballworld, where responsibilities included leading multi-year youth leadership projects in Kenya and Vietnam. Julian has extensive experience in international affairs, evidenced by roles as a Mercator Fellow at both the Mercator Kolleg für internationale Aufgaben and Indochina Starfish Foundation, focusing on the integration of football in developmental cooperation. Other notable positions include a Political Communication and Project Management Trainee at ressourcenmangel GmbH, Football Coach at the University of Oxford, Human Rights Research Intern at the Global Public Policy Institute, Program Assistant at Duke University, and Research Assistant at the Deutscher Bundestag. Julian holds a Master of Philosophy in Politics from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin, complemented by a year as a Visiting Scholar at Duke University.
