Mohamed Mannaa

Mohamed Mannaa has extensive experience in humanitarian aid and education programming, currently serving as the Country Director for Save the Children International since May 2019, following roles as Deputy Country Director - Programme Operations and Deputy Team Leader. Previously, Mohamed held various positions at Save the Children UK from January 2016 to April 2019, including Field Manager for the Humanitarian Surge Team, where responsibilities included managing field bases, budgets, agency coordination, and logistics. In earlier roles with Save the Children International, Mohamed managed significant education projects, developed high-quality proposals for funding, and took leadership in emergency situations, particularly in Syria. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Humanitarian Leadership from Deakin University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, specializing in Education Methodologies from Aleppo University.
