Ousmane Mamane Lamine

Ousmane MAMANE LAMINE is an experienced safety and security professional with a robust background in humanitarian contexts. Currently serving as Head of Safety and Security at Save the Children International since November 2020, Ousmane designs and updates security tools, enforces organizational security standards, and provides dedicated support to field offices. Previous roles include Roving Safety and Security Manager at the same organization, where Ousmane implemented various safety tools and trained drivers across different field bases. Prior experience includes serving as National Security Advisor for Cooperation Suisse, Field Security Assistant for the UN World Food Programme, UNPOL Adviser in Côte d'Ivoire, and Commandant d'Unité/Enquêteur with the Police Nationale du Niger. Ousmane holds a Graduate Certificate in Humanitarian Leadership from Daekin University, an Officier de Police degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Police, and a Bachelor's degree in Project and Programme Management.
