Sebastien Kuster

Sebastien Kuster is an experienced senior leader in international humanitarian and development operations, currently serving as the Global Head of Risk Facilitation at Save the Children International since April 2023. Prior to this role, Sebastien held several key positions within Save the Children International, including West and Central Africa Regional Programme Operations Director and Chief Operating Officer for Save the Children China, where responsibilities included stakeholder engagement, management of sizable teams across multiple offices, and strategic oversight of operations. Sebastien's extensive experience includes operational leadership in emergency response, particularly in East and Southern Africa, and program development in Mozambique and Somalia. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Crises: emergency interventions and development actions, a Bachelor's Degree in History, and a Master's Degree in International Economics, all obtained from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
