Tariq Ahmad

Tariq Ahmad is an experienced professional in monitoring and evaluation, currently serving as a Research Officer at UNICEF Pacific since December 2024, where responsibilities include designing, managing, and ensuring quality assurance of research activities across fourteen Pacific Island countries. Tariq has also held the position of Regional Senior Research and Evaluation Officer for Save the Children International since January 2023, and prior roles include Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at FAO, Program Officer at ICIMOD, and Manager of Monitoring and Evaluation at The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme, among others. Tariq’s educational background includes a Master's degree in Project Management from COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology, an MBA from the Institute of Management Sciences, and several diplomas in relevant fields.
