Monica Sydgard

Monica Sydgard is an experienced professional with a strong background in program management, advocacy, and leadership within humanitarian and social sectors. Currently serving as a board member at ARKIVET freds- og menneskerettighetssenter since May 2022 and leading the Norwegian program at Save the Children Norway since September 2016, Monica has previously held various leadership roles at Save the Children Norway, encompassing international advocacy and campaign management from 2009 to 2016. Additional experience includes international consultancy at LNU, information management at Attac Norway, and documentary filmmaking at Kaktus Film. Monica's academic credentials encompass an Executive MBA in Technology Management and an MBA in Sustainable Business Strategy, alongside extensive studies in social anthropology from the University of Oslo.
