Corinne Basler

Corinne Basler currently serves as Board Chair of the Perkins School for the Blind. Inspired by her own children to make the world a better place, Corinne has spent most of her adult life helping charities uplift the children they serve.

Corinne’s board work has empowered many nonprofits to “find their voice,” including Boston Children’s Hospital (healthcare), Cradles to Crayons (poverty), and Lovelane (disability). Known for her passionate leadership and determined spirit, she has guided Perkins School for the Blind to a new era of impact by sharpening its focus, raising unprecedented funds, and amplifying its efforts to touch the lives of every blind child around the globe. Today she is embarking on her most ambitious goal yet – to create a kinder, more inclusive society where people who are disabled are afforded the same dignity and opportunity as those who are not.
