Danita Ostling

Danita Ostling is a partner and the Professional Practice Director for Ernst & Young’s US-East Region. Based in the New York office, Danita is a member of EY’s National Professional Practice Group and is responsible for consultations on accounting and auditing matters as well as risk management for the assurance practice in the East Region. She also is a member of EY’s Americas Accounting and Auditing Committee.

Previously, Danita was the Americas IFRS Technical Leader and a co-director of EY’s Assurance Professional Practice – Accounting where she led the Business Combinations/Consolidation team. As the IFRS leader, she was responsible for coordinating the firm’s IFRS accounting guidance and consultative services within the Americas practice and served as a member of the firm’s Global IFRS Policy Committee. She also previously served as a member of the AICPA’s Financial Reporting Executive Committee, the IFRS Advisory Council, and the IMA’s Financial Reporting Committee.
