Emily Byers

Emily Byers is a highly experienced professional in global development policy, currently serving as Managing Director at Save the Children US since January 2022. Prior to this role, Emily held the position of Senior Director at the Congressional Hunger Center, where responsibilities included managing the Leland International Hunger Fellows Program and training fellows in food and nutrition security. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Policy at the Initiative for Global Development and various roles at Bread for the World, focusing on policy analysis and agricultural trade. Emily holds a Master's degree in Political Economy from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in History from Providence College.
