Joyce Adolwa is a seasoned professional in education and child protection, currently serving as Associate Vice President at Save the Children US since June 2019, where leadership focuses on empowering marginalized children through innovative solutions and evidence-based initiatives. Prior to this role, Joyce was the Global Head of Education at Save the Children International, guiding the development of a global education strategy across 56 countries. With extensive experience at CARE, including positions as PPL Strategy Director and Director of Global Education Programming, Joyce was instrumental in strengthening education programs and promoting gender equity in education. Earlier career highlights include providing technical support for child protection initiatives across Africa with the Global Movement for Children and conducting fundraising for CARE USA. Joyce holds a Master of Public Health in Prevention Science from Emory University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and English Literature from Egerton University.
