Megan McLain is a seasoned professional in strategic partnership development with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Senior Managing Director for Strategic Foundation Partnerships at Save the Children US since September 2010, Megan cultivates and stewards long-term partnerships with major private foundations. Previous roles at Save the Children include leading a team of fundraisers and managing high-profile partnerships with notable corporations such as American Express and Johnson & Johnson, overseeing a multi-million dollar portfolio aimed at supporting various impactful programs. Prior to Save the Children, Megan held key positions at The Morgan Library & Museum and Stamford Museum & Nature Center, where expertise in corporate relations and development was demonstrated through effective collaboration and donor engagement. Megan holds a BA in History from Centre College and an MA in Museum Studies from The Cooperstown Graduate Program.
