Georgia Young

Georgia Young is an experienced nonprofit professional specializing in development and major gifts, currently serving as the Director of Development at Save the Redwoods League since November 2014. In this role, Georgia leads teams focused on major gifts, the annual fund, and special events to protect and restore redwood forests. Prior experience includes positions as Major Gifts Officer at The Trust for Public Land and the Student Conservation Association, where Georgia contributed to land conservation and community green spaces. Additional roles span various organizations, including CARE, The Nature Conservancy, Conservation International, and Washington State University. Georgia holds an AB in Visual and Environmental Studies from Harvard University and an MFA in Painting from Washington State University.
