Reno Franklin

Reno Franklin is an experienced Tribal Liaison at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, notable for advancing tribal visibility and concerns within the organization. Concurrently, Reno serves as a Board Member for the Sonoma County Indian Health Project and as Chairperson of the California Rural Indian Health Board, advocating for healthcare access for Indian Tribes. As Tribal Chairman for the KASHIA BAND OF POMO INDIANS, Reno works to serve American Indian tribes and Native Hawaiian communities. Additionally, Reno holds positions on various boards, including the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation as a presidential appointee and as a Councilor for Save the Redwoods League. Previous roles include Regulatory Director at WHD and Director of Government Relations for the Yochadehe Dehe Wintun Nation, where responsibilities included cultural preservation and government relations. Education includes an Associate's degree in Fire Science from Santa Rosa Junior College and ongoing studies in Cultural Resource Management at Sonoma State University.
