Saskia Fagan

Saskia Fagan currently serves as a Conservation Programs Assistant at Save the Redwoods League, starting in June 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a GIS Specialist in Cultural Resources at the National Park Service (December 2017 - April 2023) and as a GIS Production Analyst at EKI Environment & Water, Inc. (July 2016 - December 2017). Saskia also held various positions within the County of San Mateo, including GIS Technician (July 2015 - July 2016) and GIS Intern/Fellow, focusing on metadata updates and web maps. Additional experience includes office and fiscal management at the City of Sunnyvale, GIS fieldwork in the County of Santa Clara Parks Department, and veterinary roles at MercyVet and the Sarvey Wildlife Care Center, along with research assistance at the Appalachian Laboratory. Educational credentials feature a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management from Frostburg State University, a GIS Certification from Foothill College, and a Professional Certificate in Google Project Management from Coursera.
