Save the Storks
Our mission at Save the Storks is to create a story of hope and empowerment for every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy. The legendary story of the stork makes it the perfect symbol for our pro-life nonprofit. Storks represent mothers and their babies, and our commitment to caring for them by offering hope, compassion, and truth ultimately saves lives. People are used to campaigns designed to save animals. When they hear our name, they wonder, “Who in the world would kill a stork?” Our response and branding disarms those who would criticize what we do and communicates in a winsome way that we believe abortion threatens mothers and motherhood. Our initial goal was to partner with pregnancy resource centers to launch mobile medical units across the country to serve abortion-vulnerable women. At the time, with only one employee on the team in 2012, that vision seemed audacious and crazy. As we started adding people to our team in 2014, the vision expanded and we felt God leading us into even bigger territory, all with the vision of helping mothers. Today, Save the Storks partners with pregnancy resource centers all over the nation, providing them with powerful tools and training to more effectively connect with those women in their communities. With the support of our donors, we have built 63 Stork Buses and empowered moms to choose life for nearly 10,000 babies. Save the Storks is reimagining the meaning of what it means to be pro-life. To be a movement of love, compassion and action. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and join the movement! *As of September 2021
