Khoa Bui

Khoa Bui has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of database administration. Khoa started their career at King County as a Database Developer in 1992 and later worked as a Database Analyst at Seattle City Light from 1994 to 1997. After that, Khoa worked as a Database Consultant at Boeing, Microsoft, and Point.com between 1997 and 2001. Khoa then joined Microsoft as a Database Administrator for Microsoft.com from 2001 to 2007. Khoa's next role was as a Database Administrator Consultant at Infospace from 2007 to 2008. Khoa then moved to Motricity as a Senior SQL Database Administrator from 2008 to 2013, where they implemented and maintained a High Availability enterprise solution. Currently, Khoa is working at Savers | Value Village as a Senior SQL Database Administrator and recently transitioned to the role of Principal Database Engineer in 2022.

Khoa Bui obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, where they studied from 1985 to 1992. In 2006, they also obtained the MCPS certification from Microsoft.
