Paula O.

Paula O. has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Paula is currently working as the ESG Solutions & Corporate Sustainability Director at Savills España. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Sustainability, Risk & Compliance Officer at Drake Food Service. Paula also worked as the Global Head of Corporate Sustainability at SGS from 2015 to 2022, where they led a team and oversaw the corporate sustainability program, positioning SGS as a leader in the DJSI for six consecutive years. Prior to SGS, Paula worked as a CSR/Sustainability Senior Experienced Auditor & Consultant at Deloitte for eight years, delivering advisory and audit services to clients. Paula began their career as a Sustainability Intern at Endesa and also gained experience as a Financial Department Intern at Kodak Limited (U.K).

Paula O. has a diverse education history. In 2000, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio. Paula furthered their studies in 2005 by completing the International Master Programme in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development from the Escuela de Organización Industrial, specializing in social and environmental sciences. In 2006, they pursued a Carbon Footprint Specialization Course at the same institution. In 2007, they attended the Instituto para la formación y el empleo (IMAFE) where they obtained qualifications in Environmental Management and Work Safety/Risk Prevention as a Senior Technician. Paula then went on to complete an Associate's Degree in General Management at Tulsa Community College in 2011. Recently, in 2019, they participated in the Programa de Desarrollo Directivo at the IESE Business School, where they gained further professional development.
