Having spent a decade with a national developer focused on commercial and strategic land, they joined Savills in 2009 and currently specialize in residential development throughout Scotland. Their expertise includes agency, development consultancy, valuations, viability studies, and expert witness work, and they occasionally serve as an Independent Expert in residential development disputes. Marcus began their career as a graduate at Chesterton, progressing to Associate Director, and later took on a directorial role at Ashfield Land Ltd, where they developed the Scottish business. Marcus holds a degree in Valuation and Estate Management from the University of the West of England.
