Steve Single

Steve Single, CISSP has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to cybersecurity and IT infrastructure management. Steve has served as Vice President of CyberSecurity Operations at the Savings Bank of Mendocino County since 2024, where they have established an extensive Information Security Program and led strong Vulnerability Management and Assessment programs. Prior to this role, Steve was the Information Security Officer at the same bank from 2018 to 2024, where they ensured regulatory compliance and implemented Incident Response and Vulnerability Management processes. Steve also worked as a Network Administrator at the Savings Bank of Mendocino County from 2010 to 2018, maintaining server and network infrastructure and administering protective devices. Before joining the Savings Bank, Steve was the Senior Network Administrator at Mission Community Bank from 2004 to 2008, where they supervised the IT department and implemented various IT solutions. Steve also served as an Inventory Planning & Control Administrator III at Northrop Grumman from 2001 to 2003, managing IT assets at the White House facility. Steve's earlier experience includes working as a Global Asset Management Analyst and Client Services Specialist at Acterna from 1999 to 2001, where they implemented and operated an asset management system for multiple offices across different countries. Overall, Steve Single has a proven track record of expertise and leadership in the cybersecurity and IT field.

Steve Single, CISSP, obtained a diploma in DP - Programming (Cobol & RPG) from Eastern Technical High School in 1992. Steve also holds additional certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) obtained in 2018, Certified Banking Information Security Officer (CBISO) obtained in 2018, and A+ certification from CompTIA obtained in 1998. In the future, they plan to obtain certifications in Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals from IBM and People Manager Qualification (PMQ) from SHRM.
