Paul Zolfaghari

Paul is responsible for helping to develop Saviynt’s corporate strategy, while overseeing all functional operations of the company, ensuring that the company delivers on both its short-term plans and long-term strategic initiatives.

Paul is an experienced executive with significant domain and operational expertise in the business-to-business software and SaaS industries. From 2017 to 2022, Paul was a Managing Director at Carrick Capital Partners where he was a member of the Investment Committee and Chairman of the Operations Committee. While at Carrick, Paul co-led the investment in Saviynt, and has served on its Board since that investment in 2017. From 2012 to 2016 Paul was President of global enterprise analytics company MicroStrategy (Nasdaq MSTR). From 2010 to 2012, Paul was COO of ParAccel, the enterprise database company best known as the software foundation of Amazon AWS’s Redshift platform. From 1999 to 2010 Paul served in a number of senior roles at MicroStrategy, including EVP of WW Sales and Operations. Paul has been a frequent public speaker on the technology industry and corporate operations, including interviews in the Wall Street Journal, CIO Magazine, and Information Week.
