Janne Koponen is a lecturer at Savonia University of Applied Sciences since March 2020, with a strong background in academia and industry. Previously, Janne served as a senior lecturer at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences from August 2015 to March 2020 and held the position of technology manager at Rocsole Ltd. from March 2013 to August 2015. Janne's academic career includes roles such as junior researcher at the University of Eastern Finland and lecturer at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences earlier in Janne's career. Janne has extensive experience as a software designer and architect in various technology companies. Janne holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Physics from the University of Eastern Finland, as well as a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology from the University of Jyväskylä, and a Bachelor's degree in Pulp and Paper Technology from Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
