Dr. Çetin Karahan

Dr. Çetin Karahan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in internal auditing, strategic management, and consulting within the defense and civil aviation sectors. Currently serving as the Strategy Development Department Head at the Secretariat of Defence Industries since November 2018, Dr. Karahan conducts internal audits, evaluates corporate risk management, and ensures compliance with public internal audit standards. Prior to this role, Dr. Karahan held the position of Head of Internal Audit Department at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and played a key role in strategic planning and quality management at the Turkish State Meteorological Service. Dr. Karahan holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems and holds multiple degrees in Industrial Engineering from Gazi University.
