Aaron Price

Manager, K-12 Humanities Product Development at Savvas Learning

Aaron Price has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Aaron started their career as a Financial Advisor Associate at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Inc. in 1999. After that, they worked briefly as an Enrollment Advisor at UMUC Online in 2000. In 2001, they joined The Catholic University of America Press as an Editorial Assistant until 2006. During this time, they also worked as a Book Review Editorial Assistant at The Americas Journal of Latin American History from 2005 to 2006.

In 2006, Aaron joined Pearson North America, where they held multiple roles over a span of 14 years. Aaron started as an Associate Editor and progressed to become an Editor and then a Senior Editor. From 2012 to 2020, they served as a K-12 Humanities Customization Manager, overseeing the planning, development, and maintenance of various K-12 Humanities products. Aaron managed a team of editors and vendors and was responsible for budgeting, monitoring, and reporting on multiple projects.

In 2020, they joined Savvas Learning Company as the Manager of K-12 Humanities Product Development. Aaron currently leads a team responsible for budgeting, planning, resource allocation, development, and maintenance of K-12 Humanities programs, both print and digital. Aaron works closely with cross-functional teams to develop schedules, workflows, and resource allocation for high-profile projects operating on strict deadlines.

Aaron Price obtained their B.A. in International Relations from Syracuse University, where they studied from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1997, they attended the United States Air Force Academy, specializing in International Relations. Later, from 2000 to 2002, Aaron pursued an M.A. in Medieval History at The Catholic University of America.
