Barbara Puegner

Barbara Puegner has extensive work experience in the education industry. Barbara began their career at Pearson North America in 1987, where they held the role of Director Federal Accounts. In this position, Barbara was responsible for seeking educational solution responses to K12 and AP RFQs released by the Department of Defense worldwide. Barbara also played a key role in maintaining contract awards and organizing and conducting teacher training worldwide. In 2019, Barbara joined Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning) as the Director Federal Accounts, where they currently hold the position.

Barbara Puegner obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Iowa, where they attended from 1972 to 1983. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Iowa, attending from 1983 to 1985.
